Lily was born in Iraq, grew up in Israel and lived in England for many years. Her work reflects her experience of these vastly differing societies and cultures. It expresses the bright and colourful, together with the serious and thought provoking aspects of humanity. Her paintings show compassion and understanding of suffering, yet are full of light and hope. Lily studied first in the School of Art of Tel-Aviv and then left to Russia to study sculpture at the famous Repin Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg. later she moved to London, where she completed courses at the Byam Shaw Art school and elsewhere. Lily has exhibited her work in galleries in Belgium, England, France and Israel. Her paintings form part of private collections in many countries. A couple of years ago, she opened her own Galeria de Arte Havis in the Benahavis village centre where, besides her paintings, one can find also other art objects, such as jewellery and antiques. Lily nació en Irak, creció en Israel y vivió en Inglaterra durante varios años. Su trabajo refleja la experiencia con esas distintas sociedades y culturas. Expresa el brillo y el color, junto con los aspectos serios y pensamientos irritantes de la humanidad. Sus pinturas muestran compasión y entendimiento del sufrimiento, aunque llenos de luz y esperanza. Lily estudio primero en la Escuela de Arte de Tel-Aviv, marchandose despues a Rusia donde estudio en la prestigiosa Academia de Arte Repin de San Petersburgo. Mas tarde se traslado a Londres, donde completó sus estudios en la Escuela de Arte Byam Shaw entre otras. Lily ha expuesto su trabajo en galerias en Belgica, Inglaterra, Israel y Francia. Sus cuadros forman parte de multitud de colecciones privadas en distintos paises.
