Montemayor Golf

The golfcourse of your dreams.
Nestling in the mountains of Benahavis, behind Marbella, Monte Mayor is one of Andalucia’s most spectacular Golf Courses. Designed by the prolific Jose Gancedo, the course, which has six bridges linking tees, fairways and greens, is ideal for the risk-taking player.
I advise you to take some extra balls with you ( like 20!! ) since this is one of the most unforgiving courses on the Coast.
My personal favourite.

Getting there
In Cancelada, between San Pedro de Alcantara and Estepona, cross the town, and a track will lead you past the Marbella Club golf resort straight to Montemayor, about 7 kms..
On the Benahavis, take the road opposite the new bridge over the Guadalmina river, the course is at the end of the road on your right, about 1 km past the Marbella Club golfcourse..

El campo de los sueños.
Situado en un alto valle de montaña del municipio de Benahavís, a espaldas de Marbella, el campo de Montemayor destaca sobre todo por su espectacularidad. Diseñado por el prolífico malagueño José Gancedo, el recorrido, en el que hay seis puentes para unir tees y calles y éstas con los greenes, es idóneo para los jugadores más arriesgados.
Le aconsejo de comprar unas bolas extra para este campo, mi favorito.

Como llegar
Desde Cancelada, a mitad entre Estepona y San Pedro da Alcantara, a traves del pueblo, un camino de 7 kms, pasando por el campo de Marbella Club.
Desde la salida de Benahavis, la carretera enfrente del nuevo puente sobre el rio Guadalmina, le lleva hasta el campo de Marbella Club, gira a la derecha, llegaras directamente al campo ( 1 km ).
